Diversity in Action: Inclusive Teambuilding with the BG Baskets
To raise awareness of the challenges and opportunities of inclusive work environments, we organized an inclusive workshop with the BG Baskets—the wheelchair basketball team of HSV—during our team event in Hamburg.
This change of perspective allowed our entire team to better understand the everyday experiences of colleagues with disabilities. We gained first-hand insight into the challenges of navigating daily life in a wheelchair, while also discovering the inspiring world of wheelchair basketball alongside elite athletes.
This valuable experience not only deepened our awareness of the importance of removing barriers and fostering inclusion—both professionally and personally—but also strengthened our team spirit and sense of community.
